# Getting Started

To start, users need to download the xtrip app.

**1. Download the xtrip app** \
Download the app from Apple Store or Google Play

**2. Sign-up for xtrip** \
After getting access to the app on your respective device, you will be able to sign up for xtrip. 

After activating your account, you can change your avatar, change your username and choose to hide it to public if you want.

**Step 1**: Fill in your personal information with email, and input your preferred password (Your password is secured).&#x20;

**Step 2**: You will receive a verification code via your email. Insert code to enter the app.&#x20;

**Notice**: At the current stage, users need the invitation code which will be provided by other users or our discord community to start.

**4. Purchase a Transportation NFT (Optional)**\
Head over to the xtrip Shop and pick out a Transportation NFT for better earning power if you want to. \
For Android users, choose the Shop icon from the home screen; 🚀

For iOS users, access xtrip webshop at <https://webapp.xtrip.travel/> to buy NFTs. To make your purchase smooth, read more infor about E-wallet in MetaMask part!

Congrats! You are all set. Your Ability to Travel will be restored at a rate of 25% every 6 hours. You can start to travel with xtrip whenever the Ability are there.
